NetBackup PureDisk Deduplication Option backups/duplications fail with status 84, and "Invalid argument".

Troubleshooting:
Review of the relevant bptm/bpdm log shows mismatched 'errno' error codes for the same condition:

Resolution:
Symantec has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue (ETrack 1502232) is present in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned at the end of this article. This issue is currently being considered by Symantec to be addressed in PureDisk version 6.5.1.
