To which versions of Symantec Enterprise Vault (tm) can this hotfix be applied?
This hotfix can only be applied to the following versions of Enterprise Vault for:
Enterprise Vault for File System Archiving 7.0 SP5, Build 3001


What issue does this hotfix resolve?
When attempting to recall a file that was archived with NetApp 7.2.x or NetApp 7.3 and FSA 7.0 SP5, the recall will fail with 'Access Denied". The access denied error was observed when the Enterprise Vault server had the Microsoft update KB957097 installed as part of Windows 2003 updates.


Which files does this hotfix replace?
EvNetAppPHSvr.exe     7.0.5.3004


How to install this hotfix:
1. Stop Enterprise Vault Services on all Enterprise Vault Servers.
2. Take the back of the following file <System Drive>\<Program Files>\<EVInstallDir>EvNetAppPHSvr.exe.
3. Copy the following new file provided with this hotfix to <System Drive>\<Program Files>\<EVInstallDir>EvNetAppPHSvr.exe.
4. Restart all services on all Enterprise Vault Servers.


How to uninstall this hotfix:
1. Stop Enterprise Vault Services on all Enterprise Vault Servers.
2. Place the backup copy of the original file and place in the following directory. <System Drive>\<Program Files>\<EVInstallDir>EvNetAppPHSvr.exe.
3. Restart all services on all Enterprise Vault Servers.
