What issue does this hotfix resolve?
This problem occurs in
environments where the domain contains many Active Directory(AD)
objects. Adding users to roles from AD requires the AcceleratorService to
read those accounts from AD using DirectoryService components. One of the
components, namely SearchResultCollections requires explicit disposing after
using, otherwise it leaks unmanaged resources and memory. The result is that
AcceleratorService process memory usage goes up until it hits physical / 2GB
memory barrier and collapses with OutOfMemoryExceptions. In addition, the
original AD query would return computer accounts as well, which is not
needed.

How to install this hotfix:
Discovery Accelerator
Server
1. Stop the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager Service.
2. Copy the
AcceleratorCommon.dll from the Discovery Accelerator installation folder to
another location.
3. Replace AcceleratorCommon.dll
with the updated file version in the installation folder of the Discovery
Accelerator.
4. Start the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager Service.
How to uninstall this hotfix:
Discovery Accelerator
Server
1. Stop the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager Service.
2. Replace AcceleratorCommon.dll
with the original file in the installation folder of the Discovery
Accelerator.
4. Start the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager Service.
