Issue

CPS (Continuous Protection Server) jobs are grayed out in the Administrator console. Cannot start, stop, or cancel jobs.

Solution

Typically, a restart of the Source and Target Servers' CPS services will rectify the problem.

If issue remains and a newly-created job also appears grayed out, confirm that the logged-on account has rights to each CPA Server. If so, it's possible that the Backup Destination Server's CPA database is out of sync. Please contact Symantec Technical Services for further assistance.
