When you view information about a host's HBA ports (Inventory > Hosts > select a
host > HBA Ports), in the Host column, a host name should display, but instead,
code displays.

Workaround:

Replace the current "hostHBAPortsDetail.xml" file with the attached copy.

To replace the current "hostHBAPortsDetail.xml" file with an updated copy

1. On the Management Server, open the following directory:

Solaris: /opt/VRTSsmweb/webgui/sm/config/spring

Windows: \Program Files\VERITAS\VRTSsmweb\webgui\sm\config\spring

2. Rename "hostHBAPortsDetail.xml" to "hostHBAPortsDetail_Original.xml"

3. Download the updated hostHBAPortsDetail.xml file from this Technote.  (Remove the numbers _320968 from the filename)

4. Copy and paste the updated version of "hostHBAPortsDetail.xml" into the following directory:

Solaris: /opt/VRTSsmweb/webgui/sm/config/spring

Windows: \Program Files\VERITAS\VRTSsmweb\webgui\sm\config\spring

5. Restart the Veritas Storage Management Web Console as follows:

Solaris: Run the following commands:

./opt/VRTSccs/VRTSccsts/bin/vxccs stop smweb

./opt/VRTSccs/VRTSccsts/bin/vxccs start smweb

Windows: Open Windows Service Control Manager and restart the Veritas Storage Management Web Console
