"The license key is invalid" error message appears when inserting licenses in Backup Exec.


Solution



When inserting license keys, a pop-up message opens stating the "The license key is invaild."
 

 
Resolution:
 
When the license key is copied and pasted from a text file, sometimes there are empty spaces or hidden characters included in the text information.
 
Try to manually type and enter the license key.
