How to update a support case and upload diagnostic files with MySymantec (formerly MySupport)


Solution



Support Case Information can be updated or diagnostic files can be uploaded with MySymantec per the following steps:
 
1. Access MySymantec.    MySupport.Symantec.com
   
  
2. Login with an ID and Password for the MySymantec Site
  
3. Select the case.
  
4. On the right side, select Add Case Comment to add comments to the case.
  
5. On the right side, select Add Case Files to upload files to the case.
  
  
  
NOTE: At this time the following restrictions are in place for file uploads
  • A maximum of 25MB (total of all files) may be uploaded at one time.
