Problem
While configuring the Enterprise Vault (EV) service group on a 64-bit platform, the VCS Enterprise Vault Cluster Setup Wizard does not create the RepReg Resource group with the EV 64 bit value, due to which the EV secondary node failover does not take place.
Solution
While configuring the EV service group on a 64-bit platform, the VCS Enterprise Vault Cluster Setup Wizard does not create the RepReg Resource group with the EV 64 bit value (HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\KVS\Enterprise Vault) due to which the EV secondary node failover does not take place.
Solution:
Install the VCS 5.1 HotFix from the Related Documents section article 326337.
NOTE: Regkey value is set correctly for ServiceGroups that are created after applying Hotfix. For the ServiceGroup created before applying Hotfix, user needs to manually change registry key in 64-bit environment as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\KVS\Enterprise Vault
