Problem
Under some conditions, FSA cannot manage file servers that are clustered using Windows Server Failover Clustering. (Windows Server Failover Clustering was formerly known as Microsoft Cluster Server, or MSCS.)
When you run the FSA Cluster Configuration wizard you see the message "Failed to collect clustering data from file server". The following tables list the conditions under which the problem occurs, and any workaround, if available. The restrictions apply to both 32-bit and x64 versions of an operating system, where supported.
Error
Failed to collect clustering data from file server.
