After moving Compliance Accelerator or Discovery Accelerator databases to a newly upgraded SQL server, a 'suspended' SPID might be generated


Error



spidXX,Unknown,Service Broker needs to access the master
key in the database 'EVAccelerator'. Error code:25.
The master
key has to exist and the service master key encryption is required.

Solution



After moving Compliance Accelerator or Discovery Accelerator databases to a newly upgraded SQL server, a 'suspended' SPID might be generated.  No SQL resources are consumed by the 'suspended' SPID, but an error is generated in the SQL server logs.
