Environment



 VCB Proxy installed on the local media server and VMware Virtual Center Server installed on the remote ESX server.


Solution



1. Open My Computer and navigate to <WINDOWS>\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG
2. Locate the machine.config file and open it with notepad
3. Add the below lines to the end of the configuration file.
<system.net>
<defaultProxy>
<proxy
usesystemdefault = "false"
/>
</defaultProxy>
</system.net>

4. Restart IIS on the local media server.
