Problem
SAP backup jobs automatically triggers a SAP restore job.
Error
A SAP restore job will immediately be created and launched in the Backup Exec GUI after the SAP backup just has finished successfully.
Cause
With the activation of the SAP internal 'Verify' option, a restore job will be automatically triggered after a SAP backup job finished so that SAP can compare binary data between the just backed up data and the restored data (temp directory).
Solution
This additional functionality has been added in newer versions of SAP kernels.
For more information about this SAP functionality especially in relation to BACKINT please have a look at the section "Backup Verify" within your SAP documentation.
