Cause

This issue can occur if there is a disc inserted in the cdrom drive of the Linux server or if there is an issue with the cdrom drive itself.

Solution

If there is a disc in the cdrom drive of the server, please remove the disc and attempt to expand backup selections again.

If no disc is in the drive, remove /cdrom from fstab and attempt to expand backup selections again.

If not able to expand selections after removing /cdrom from fstab, please contact Symantec Technical Support to continue troubleshooting.
