"The product lifecycle starts when it is added to the published Symantec price list and becomes commercially Generally Available for purchase. We typically provide Support Services for a Major Release for up to seven years from the date it is made Generally Available. While the Major Release and its related releases are Generally Available, we provide a level of support called Standard Support. When that Major Release and its related releases reach EOL, Symantec provides a level of support called Limited Support. When the Limited Support phase ends, the Software then moves to its Partial Support phase. At the end of the Partial Support phase, the Software reaches its End of Support Life ("EOSL")."
