Solution



Background:
 
Windows does not support Folder names ending with a "." ( dot / period )
 
Mac does allow this folder name.
 

 
Solution:
 
Remove the "." from the folder names.
 
Workaround for data in backups, restore the only the child objects of the "." folder.
