Problem
Unable to view Individual files for restore using NDMP option
Solution
Individual
files and folder restores for NDMP is possible only if following conditions are
met :
1. During the
backup selection process, all selections were made at the folder level or higher
( Root ) .
2. File history
should be enabled for the backup job. File history is used to optimize
recovery of selected subsets of data from the backup image and is enabled by
default ( Figure 1)

NOTE: File
history generation and processing increase the backup time , however in
Scenarios If file history is made unavailable and user needs to restore data the
entire backup image is required to be restored.
