Summary
This hotfix contains a critical fix for Backup Exec for Windows Servers.

Prerequisites
- Before installing this hotfix, Service Pack 3 must be installed. Service Pack 3 can be obtained here: http://support.veritas.com/docs/337373
- Administrative privileges are required to install this hotfix.


Post requisites
- A full backup is recommended after installing this hotfix.
- The IDR recovery media (the ISO created through the IDR Wizard) needs to be recreated after installing this hotfix.
- Remote Agent for Windows Servers will need to be updated after installing this hotfix.

Issue(s) resolved
- When the System State resource does not list the Active Directory component in the backup selections, a Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) enabled backup to TAPE and NON-GRT backup to DISK/TAPE complete successfully without backing up the NTDS.DIT database.
