Slow backup throughput is observed while backing up the System State of a Windows 2008 or 2008 R2 Operating System. The behaviour is specific to the System State and other types of backups from the same system will operate at a normal speed.
- This issue has been seen on 32bit and 64bit Window 2008 servers and 2008 R2.
- This issue has been seen on local and remote System State backups of Windows 2008 and 2008 R2 servers.
- This issue has been seen on Domain Controllers and Non Domain Controller servers.
- This issue has been seen with Backup Exec 12.5, 2010 and 2010 R2.
