# tar -xf VRTSibmxiv-5.0-HP_UX_11.31-v3.tar_338442
5. Before adding ASL package, ensure Veritas Volume Manager is installed and enabled:
# vxdctl mode

6. Install the ASL
# swinstall -s 'pwd' VRTSibmxiv
7. After the packages are installed, execute the vxdctl enable command to claim the disk array:
# vxdctl enable

8. After executing vxdctl enable, verify the output of the "vxddladm listsupport" and vxddladm listversion commands
# vxddladm listsupport libname=libvxxiv.sl
