2. At the bottom of this TechFile, click on Download Now to download the ASL package

3. After downloading VRTSibmxiv-5.0-HP_UX_11.31-v3.tar_338442.gz in /tmp/asl/ directory, Verify the checksum.
# cksum VRTSibmxiv-5.0-HP_UX_11.31-v3.tar_338442.gz

# tar -xf VRTSibmxiv-5.0-HP_UX_11.31-v3.tar_338442

5. Before adding ASL package, ensure Veritas Volume Manager is installed and enabled:
# vxdctl mode

6. Install the ASL
# swinstall -s 'pwd' VRTSibmxiv

7. After the packages are installed, execute the vxdctl enable command to claim the disk array:
# vxdctl enable
