The Backup Exec Server service terminated unexpectedly.  It has done this 1 time(s).

Cause



The Backup Exec Server Service (BESERVER.EXE) may terminate when active backup jobs are running and the Backup Exec Devices are viewed or modified in the Backup Exec GUI's Devices Tab (FIGURE 1). 
The problem may also be observed when navigating the Backup Exec GUI when active jobs are running.

Solution



This has been resolved in Backup Exec 2010 for Windows Servers revision 2896 Hotfix 344584. It can be downloaded from the following link: www.symantec.com/docs/TECH126191
