When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. Cause



Quotes from the CD title on earlier pre-releases of Backup Exec 2010.
 


Solution



    Download the updated ISO package which removes the quotes from the CD title and this fixed this installation issue.
