Problem
You want to know how to remove the contents of the Quarantine or Backup folders for Norton AntiVirus for Microsoft Exchange (NAVMSE) or Symantec AntiVirus/Filtering 3.0 for Microsoft Exchange (Symantec AV/Filter for MSE) manually.
Solution
To remove the contents of the Quarantine and/or the Backup folders for NAVMSE or Symantec AV/Filter for MSE, see the section for your product.
NOTE: Do not delete the Release directory.
Norton AntiVirus for Microsoft Exchange
Open Windows Explorer, navigate to the following locations, select the files to be deleted, and then press Delete:
