Problem
You installed Symantec AntiVirus Scan Engine (AVSE) to a server. However, a Norton or Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition client updates the virus definitions on the server. The AVSE settings in Definfo.dat do not update to reflect the date of the new virus definitions. Restarting AVSE updates the settings to reflect the new date of the virus definitions installed.
