You attempt to run a manual scan for a Symantec Mail Security product for Exchange. The following error appears:
"Active Server Pages, ASP 0113 (0x80004005) The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools."
A version of one of the following Symantec Mail Security products is installed:
-Symantec Mail Security 4.0.x for Microsoft Exchange
-Symantec Mail Security 4.5.x for Microsoft Exchange
This situation may happen when the Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) setting for ScriptTimeout is to small. For information about changing the script time setting for Active Server Pages, read the Microsoft Knowledge Base document .
