Recommended sequence when upgrading Scanners and Control Center.

What is the recommended sequence to upgrade the product when a new update or software patch is available?
The recommended sequence is to upgrade first all Scanner only boxes then the Control Center.
If the product is being used as a combo box (Scanner and Control Center on a single box) you might update all at once.
All the servers (scanners AND control center) should be updated before any configuration changes are made.
This applies to the following product lines:
Symantec Mail Security 8200/8300 Series (with Symantec Brightmail Gateway until version 8.0.3)
Symantec Mail Security Appliance 7.5
Symantec Mail Security Appliance 7.6 and 7.6 Virtual Edition
Symantec Brightmail Message Filter 6.x (aka Symantec Brightmail AntiSpam 6.X)
Symantec Mail Security for SMTP 5.0.x
