What commands are used for displaying MTA Statistics on Symantec Mail Security for SMTP 5 and Symantec Mail Security 8200 & 8300 series Appliance?
Solution
To display mta statistics for SMTP 5 on Windows
- At the cmd prompt, type:
cd "\Program Files\Symantec\SMSSMTP\common\sbin"
- At the cmd prompt, type:
mta-stats
To display mta statistics for SMTP 5 on Linux or Solaris
- At a shell prompt, type:
cd /opt/Symantec/SMSSMTP/common/sbin
- At a shell prompt, type:
./mta-stats
To display mta statistics for SMTP 5 on 8200 & 8300 series appliance
- Attach a keyboard and monitor to the Appliance, or connect to the Appliance with an ssh client
- Login as admin
- At the command line interface (CLI) of the Appliance, type:
mta-stats
