Solution

This may be a sign of an anti virus program scanning the MSMQ Storage location. Ensure that the Anti-Virus exclusions are properly in place and enabled.

Microsoft Message Queues
Default Location - %system32\MSMQ
Risk - Scanning this location can cause MSMQ message corruption and severe performance issue which could interrupt archiving tasks, cause data loss and create database inconsistencies.
Conditions - This applies to all Enterprise Vault servers.

For more information on the recommended list of antivirus exclusions refer to TECH48856.
