After backing up a Microsoft Exchange server that has Exchange data spanned across multiple volumes with Backup Exec System Recovery and then opening that backup file set via the sv2i file in Backup Exec System Recovery Granular Restore Option 8.5, an error of "unable to find eif file" is shown and the image file set does not open.

Solution



This issue is resolved with Backup Exec System Recovery Granular Restore Option (GRO) version 8.5.3. Upgrade to GRO 8.5.3 or later.
