Problem
This article outlines the SNMP Identifiers that can be used in SNMP queries to the appliance.
Solution
Requirements:
- SNMP services must be enabled and properly configured on the Symantec Messaging Gateway appliance.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
SNMP monitoring of the Symantec Brightmail Gateway (SBG) is only supported based on the MIB files that are available from the Control Center.
For a list of the available MIB files, please see the topic titled "Downloading a Management Information Base for SNMP" on page 457 in Symantec Brightmail Gateway 8.0 Administration Guide.
SNMP monitoring of OIDs other than the ones included in the above mentioned MIB files is not supported.
