Why can Symantec Hosted Mail Security not route the emails from specific domains in the customer network?
You cannot receive email from specific domains.
- Bounce messages are difficult to collect.
- Most of the time Symantec Hosted Mail Security cannot read the log for that messages because out of date.
- When you attempt to telnet from the sending server to port 25 of a mail server in the Symantec Hosted Mail Security array, you do not receive an SMTP banner response
Symantec Hosted Mail Security Firewall does NOT allow the domains for delivery.
Call Symantec Support to open a ticket. Provide the domain names and sending IPs to the support agent to enable the domain communication on the Symantec Hosted mail security Firewall.
