Problem
Mailflow has stopped since March 26th 2008.
Symptoms
Third party blacklists are enabled, and relays.ordb.org is present in the list. Any message sent to a domain protected by Symantec AntiSpam products gets a 550 5.2.1 or 554 response.
The messages look like:
- "550 5.2.1 Mail from x.x.x.x refused: spam site."
Or,
- "Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Sent: 26/03/2008 10:56
The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:
administrator@domain.ext on 26/03/2008 10:58
The message reached the recipient's e-mail system, but delivery was refused. Attempt to resend the message. If it still fails, contact your system administrator.
< mailserver.domain.ext #5.2.1 SMTP; 550 5.2.1 Mail from x.x.x.x refused: spam site.>"
Cause
This blacklist is no longer in use. It went out of service in December 2006.
Solution
Remove relays.ordb.org from your list of 3rd party blacklists.
