What is a ndis2 DOS driver and how can I go about obtaining this driver?

Solution

The ndis2 DOS driver required for the VERITAS Bare Metal Restore (tm) boot floppy is the driver needed in order for your Network Interface Card (NIC) to function under the DOS operating system. Without this driver, your network will fail to initialize and the network restore will be impossible.
If a ndis2 DOS driver is not available for a specified NIC, one would have to utilize Bare Metal Restore's Media Boot feature.
The best place to find these ndis2 DOS drivers are from the NIC vendor's website. They are often called DOS drivers or Ghost drivers (for Norton Ghost boot floppies).
