Problem
Does Symantec support running Symantec Scan Engine in VMware?
Solution
Symantec Scan Engine will be supported on VMware, as long as the Operating System used is supported by the Symantec Scan Engine product.
A list of supported Operating Systems can be found in the Implementation Guide for the Symantec Scan Engine product.
Please note that Symantec does not support the VMware product, all VMware related questions should be referred to VMware Support.
