Issue

Logging of events that occur during the leap second at "12/31/2008 23:59:60" are displayed in the GUI as occurring at "1/1/2009 12:00:00 AM"

Solution

This is a minor display issue which results from how the database interprets the log timestamp with a "60" in the seconds field. This only occurs when using NTP for time synchronization and when a leap second has been added to re-synchronize the system displayed time with mean solar time. There are no other known issues with the insertion of a leap second.
