Error: "...Honor read only flag is set to true..."

The Celerra Antiv-Virus Agent will not start. In the Application Log of the Windows Event Viewer appears an error containing the message "Honor read only flag is set to true."
- The following event appears in the Application Log of Windows Event Viewer:

Description: The service encountered an error during initialization. Honor read only flag is set to true. Symantec SAV SE DLL will not delete infected read-only files.
Symantec Scan Engine is configured to honor the read only flag by default.
To set the honor read only flag to false within Symantec Scan Engine 5.x
- At the command line, navigate to the installation location of Scan Engine.
- At the command line, type the following command:
java -jar xmlmodifier.jar -s /policies/Misc/HonorReadOnly/@value false policy.xml
- Restart the Symantec Scan Engine service to make the change effective.
