You want to know if the Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 Network Threat Protection firewall supports Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) or Internet Protocol version 6 over Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv6 over IPv4).
The Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 firewall does not have the ability to understand IPv6 or IPv6 over IPv4 traffic. Because of this, Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 can only allow all or block all of both types of traffic. You cannot use Symantec Endpoint Protection to block traffic of this type based on normal firewall criteria (e.g. source/destination, port, etc.)
By default, a Symantec Endpoint Protection client contains firewall rules which will block all IPv6 and IPv6 over IPv4 traffic.
