Installing the ActiveX controls on client workstations
Solution
How to install the VERITAS StorageCentral (tm) SRM ActiveX
controls for reports on client workstations which do not have rights to install
OCX controls.
You can install
the StorageCentral SRM ActiveX controls on workstations by running the
SCSRM5OCX.exe. This can be performed interactively or in batch using the
attached .bat and .inf files. Just copy all three files to a
directory, and use the batch file to perform an unattended installation of the
OCX controls.
A Microsoft
Installer (MSI) file is also provided for Storage Management Services (SMS)
package distribution.
