Is the Windows Installer service disabled?

- The Windows Installer service is disabled
- The last attempt to launch the service failed.
For installation of either Endpoint Protection (client) or the Endpoint Protection Manager , it is required that the Microsoft Windows Installer service be in an operational state. This also applies to Endpoint Protection Client installations that are performed remotely using the Endpoint Protection Manager.

To start the Windows Installer service
- Click Start > Run, type services.msc, and click OK.
- Click the Windows Installer service, and then click Start.
For further troubleshooting of the Windows Installer service, consult your system vendor, or Microsoft.
