MIME To CD conversions appear more frequently on Domino console when Symantec Mail Security 8.0 for Domino is installed

Problem
After upgrading from a previous version of Symantec Mail Security for Domino (SMSDOM) to version 8.0, you see an increase in the number of "MIME to CD Conversion" messages in either the Domino console or the Notes.log file.
Symptoms
Messages about MIME To CD Conversions appear on the Domino console. Content Filtering is disabled in Symantec Mail Security 8.0 for Domino.
Cause
Messages arriving at a Domino Messaging Server via Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) will go through the MIME To CD conversion process even if Content Filtering is disabled.
Solution
Symantec is investigating at this time.
If this behavior floods your notes.log with numerours entries or adversely impacts the speed of your mailflow, please revert to your previous build of SMSDOM as a workaround.
