Issue

When uninstalling SMSSWM 5.1 (or its firewall component), the user is prompted to enter a password. Is this a special uninstall password, as is configured on some implementations of Symantec AntiVirus on a Windows computer?

Symptoms
Please enter your current Symantec PIN or password for authorization to uninstall the software. After uninstall, the default password provider will be active with a password of "1234", which you can modify or disable on the device Settings menu.

Solution

The password or PIN is the one used to unlock the phone.
