Problem
You want to download and install the latest version of Symantec AntiVirus for Linux. You need to know where to locate the build.
Solution
Protection for Windows and Linux platforms are downloaded together.
Symantec AntiVirus for Linux can be found in the SAVLINUX folder on the Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 DVD, or on CD2 of older releases of Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.
It can also be found in the SAVFL folder on the Symantec Client Security 3.1 or Symantec AntiVirus 10.1 CD.
It is a security best practice to always keep the version of antivirus software, its definitions and the computer's OS patch levels up to date. Please ensure that all Windows computers are running the latest available antivirus software when updating Linux computers to the latest available version of Symantec AntiVirus for Linux.
