Issue

After migrating from LiveUpdate Administrator version 2.1 to 2.2, all clients fail to update content from it.

Solution

LiveUpdate Administrator 2.2 uses a different default port for content distribution. The default is now TCP 7070 rather than LUA 2.1's default, TCP 8080.

You can solve the problem through any of the following 2 methods:

1. Change clients/SEPM LiveUpdate settings, to run LiveUpdate from new LUA server port.

Change the LiveUpdate source from http://<lua-server-ip>:8080 to http://<lua-server-ip>:7070.

2. Change Tomcat settings, resume the service port to legacy 8080:

    a. Go to Tomcat installation directory, edit %Tomcat%\conf\server.xml.
    b. Search the line including <Connector port="7070" …>, change it to <Connector port="8080" …>.
    c. Restart Tomcat.
