Symantec On-Demand Protection (SODP) Client Fails Host Integrity Even Though All Requirements Are Met

Problem
When attempting to log onto a network through SODP, an error is generated warning of host intergrity failure. After reviewing the requirements of the host integrity policy, you fins that all conditions on met by the client computer.
Symptoms
False host integrity error.
Cause
Often , this is caused by a corrupted or otherwise compromised Java cache.
Solution
Clear the Java cache on the client computer and attempt to reconnect to the network.
1. Open the Windows control panel.
2. Double click the Java icon (or Java Plug-In icon, depending on Version) to open the Java Control Panel.
3. Select the Cache tab.
4. Click the Clear button to clear out the Java cache
5. Close the Java window
6. Attempt to reconnect to the network.
