Problem
How to restore Windows Server 2008 system files
How to replace a missing or corrupted system file or driver
Solution
Extract the file using the automated System File Checker
- Click Start and type in the search box cmd
- Right-click on cmd under programs and choose Run as administrator
- In the User Account Control pop-up choose Continue
- In the command prompt type the following:
sfc /scannow
- Press ENTER.
