How to block email from specific domains using the Symantec Brightmail Gateway?

How is it possible to block emails from a specific external domain using the Local Bad Sender Domains setting within the Symantec Brightmail Gateway (SMG)?
 


Solution



  1. Log into the Interface and select the Reputation tab.
  2. Click on the words Local Bad Sender Domains.
  3. Click on the Add button to add a domain to be blocked.

     
  4. Perform the following from the action drop down, as shown above, select the action to be performed for bad senders.  The default action displayed is to delete messages coming from the listed domain.
  5. Save the new settings.
