Issue



When all the Symantec Endpoint Protection "Email Plugins" are enabled in the Antivirus and Antispyware Policy, email will not send and remains in the Outbox in Outlook.

Symptoms
Outlook has both Internet Email and Outlook Email plugins enabled in Antivirus and Antispyware Policy.



Cause



The Outlook plugin blocks sending email to an Internal Mail Server because Outlook has been configured to use only an Exchange Server.

Solution



Uninstall the Outlook Email plugin from the Add/Remove Programs and reconfigure Outlook to use the correct mail server.
