The current release adds support for new platforms and includes a new feature that enables administrators to revert clients to an earlier client package.

Software rollout control
By default, Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition automatically upgrades all clients to the latest version of the client available on the Symantec Protection Center when client software is downloaded by LiveUpdate or when Symantec Protection Center is upgraded. With RU1, administrators can select whether individual groups are automatically upgraded to the latest release. To change this setting in Symantec Protection Center, go to Computers > My Company, select the group you want to configure, then click Edit the group propreties > Disable Automatic Client Package Updates.

Solution: Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition 12.0Symantec Endpoint Protection was updated to correct the latency problem.
Group Policy Object (GPO) installation does not honor SetAid.ini restart option
Fix ID: 1729170
Symptom: When GPO is used to install Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition, the computer always restarts after installation, regardless of the restart setting in SetAid.ini.
Solution: The Symantec AntiVirus.msi file was updated to correct this issue.
