Scheduled events are created for scans or LiveUpdate events with the Symantec Scheduler. However, some items listed in the Symantec Scheduler need to be temporarily disabled without completely deleting the event from the Symantec Scheduler to allow it to be used again in the future when needed.


Solution



To temporarily disable a scheduled item in the Symantec Scheduler without deleting the item, uncheck the check box in the "On" column on the far left side of the event as it is listed in the Symantec Scheduler. The event will now be disabled until it is again checked to re-enable the item.
