A restore job fails with an error 0xe000030e when a manual disaster recovery is performed using the incremental backup set in BIOS mode on Backup Exec 2012.
 


Error



Final error: 0xe000030e - Unable to swap out active registry hive with new data.
V-79-57344-782 - Error, Unable to swap out active registry hive [SID] with new data.
V-79-57344-65072 - Connection to the restore target has been lost.  Operation canceled.

 


Environment



Windows system configured in BIOS mode
